Volunteer Profiles

The reports and photographs for the Peace Boat Cyberschoolbus reports have been compiled by JT and Tim, two volunteer web reporters who are traveling onboard Peace Boat's 46th voyage. Peace Boat staff members Johanna Stratton, Stacy Hughes and Rachel Armstrong have worked on edits and additional photographs. Thanks to everyone onboard and on land who has cooperated in this project!

Tim Wagner is a Tokyo-based photographer, journalist and multimedia producer. His specialty is portraits and he has traveled all over Asia taking photos of the people he meets. Tim loves the outdoors and is excited to be working with the United Nations to help bring a different slice of the world to curious young people. Tim is a native of Vermont, USA. J.T. Boehm currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from Nebraska, J.T. moved to Brooklyn via Massachusetts after earning a degree in Aquatic/Environmental Science at Hampshire College. In his free time, J.T. loves writing, learning about the world, going to the beach at Coney Island, and helping to grow corals in the coral laboratory at the New York Aquarium. He is thrilled to be working as a web reporter for Peace Boat, and contributing to the United Nations Cyberschoolbus.
